Hypend joined forces with Saucony Originals for a community-driven series called Originals by Hypend - featuring some of the people that make Helsinki move. The second talent in the series highlights Lina Schiffer - a Helsinki-based DJ and a radio host.

In your own words, who are you, and what do you do?

I’m Lina Schiffer, a Finnish-Italian Helsinki-born DJ, radio host, and comedy fan. Together with Taika Mannila, we have a DJ duo called Dream and we host our namesake radio show weekly. And throw parties.

It’s a tie between Melo’s Crunch Time or Kaytranada’s Be Your Girl feat Teedra Moses.

Your craziest memory from a gig?

THERE ARE TOO MANY Well, there was this one time at Flow Festival in 2017…we were hosting our radio show from the festival site while this massive storm came and swept over the site. The electricity went out but since we were working with our own aggregator in a small shed-like building we were the only place with music for 45 minutes straight... We turned that shed into a party house and things got wild and funny real fast.
